Authorize air conditioning repair services agreement with AC Service Doral

RESOLUTION NO. 2022- A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH AC SERVICE DORAL, INC. FOR GENERAL REPAIR SERVICES – AIR CONDITIONING; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Village issued a Request for Proposals for General Repair Services – Air Conditioning; and WHEREAS, the Village Manager received proposals by the published deadline; and WHEREAS, a staff evaluation committee has ranked the top proposals as follows: 1. AC Service Doral, Inc. 2. Premier Air Conditioning 3. Temptrol Air Conditioning 4. Green Alliance, Inc. 5. Supreme Roofing and Construction, Inc.

NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the Village Manager is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with AC Service Doral, Inc. for General Repair Services – Air Conditioning. Section 2. As a result of the RFP, the following five (5) proposals were received by the June 10, 2022 deadline: 1. Temptrol Air Conditioning 2. Supreme Roofing and Construction, Inc. 3. Premier Air Conditioning 4. Green Alliance, Inc. 5. AC Service Doral, Inc. Based upon the selection committee’s evaluation of the qualifications and responsiveness, the firms were ranked in the following order: 1. AC Service Doral, Inc. 2. Premier Air Conditioning 3. Temptrol Air Conditioning 4. Green Alliance, Inc. 5. Supreme Roofing and Construction, Inc. I hereby respectfully recommend the Village Council adopt the attached resolution awarding the contract for the General Repair Services – Air Conditioning to AC Service Doral.
