Award $715,008 Hahn Construction bid for drainage improvement project

RESOLUTION NO. 2024- A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, AWARDING A BID TO HAHN CONSTRUCTION FOR THE DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT SW 69TH AVENUE PROJECT; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Village issued an Invitation to Bid for the “Drainage Improvement SW 69TH Avenue” project; and WHEREAS, sealed proposals were received by the published deadline; and WHEREAS, Hahn Construction submitted the most responsive proposal;

NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the Village Council hereby determines that Hahn Construction has submitted the most responsive bid and hereby authorizes the Village Manager to enter into an agreement with said firm for the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, equipment, machinery, superintendence, and services necessary for the completion of the project as detailed in the Drainage Improvement SW 69TH Avenue Project Invitation to Bid packet in an amount not to exceed $291,258.60. The project includes Reconstruction and New Pavement Installation, Milling and Resurfacing, Installation of Drainage Structure, Trench and Storm Manhole. As a result of the ITB, the following six (6) bids were received by the November 14, 2024, deadline: C. & I. Construction and Design $581,298.00 Restate Construction $342,419.00 Hanh Construction $291,258.60 RG Underground Engineering $409,048.20 Pimentel Construction Group $416,191.00 F.G. Construction $715,008.00 Based upon staff’s evaluation of the proposals, I hereby respectfully recommend the Village Council adopt the attached resolution awarding the contract for the Drainage Improvement SW 69TH Avenue project to the lowest Bidder, Hanh Construction, in the amount of $291,258.60.
