Authorize Emergency Sandbag Response supply contract for flood sandbags

DATE: April 29, 2024 TO: The Honorable Mayor and Members of the Village Council FROM: Yocelyn Galiano, ICMA-CM, Village Manager RE: Resolution Awarding Supply of Flood Sandbags Services The Village published a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Supply of Flood Sandbags. The purpose of this RFP is to qualify companies for the supply flood sandbags upon an “Emergency Declaration” is made by the Office of the State of Florida Governor. As a result of the RFP, the following one (1) proposal was received by the April 18, 2024 deadline: 1. Emergency Sandbag Response (ESR) I hereby respectfully recommend the Village Council adopt the attached resolution awarding the contract for Supply of Flood Sandbags Services to Emergency Sandbag Response (ESR.) RESOLUTION NO. 2024- A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH EMERGENCY SANDBAG RESPONSE (ESR) FOR SUPPLY OF FLOOD SANDBAGS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Village issued a Request for Proposals for supply of flood sandbags project; and WHEREAS, the Village Manager received one (1) proposal by the published deadline; and

NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the Village Manager is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with Emergency Sandbag Response (ESR) for supply of flood sandbags services. Section 2.
