Express support for Ludlam Trail 67 Avenue Shared Use Path project development

RESOLUTION NO. 2023- A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, EXPRESSING SUPPORT FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE LUDLAM TRAIL (67 AVENUE SHARED USE PATH) PROJECT; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Village Council adopted Resolution 2021-46 on June 8, 2021, adopting the 2021 Strategic Plan, including to design and construct the 67 Avenue Shared Use Path to create a link with the Snapper Creek Trail that connects to the Underline, Ludlam Trail and Old Cutler Trail; and WHEREAS, the Village Council instructed the Village Manager to seek alternative funding sources for large scale capital projects;

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the Village Council hereby expresses support for the development of the Ludlam Trail (67 Avenue Shared Use Path) to create a link with the Snapper Creek Trail that connects to The Underline, Ludlam Trail and Old Cutler Trail, and authorizes the Village Manager to seek grant funding in support of the project. Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 12th day of December, 2023. Joseph M.
