Award $218,640 drainage improvement bid to Headley Construction

RESOLUTION NO. 2025- A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, AWARDING A BID TO HEADLEY CONSTRUCTION GROUP FOR THE DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT SW 72ND AVENUE PROJECT; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Village issued an Invitation to Bid for the “Drainage Improvement SW 72nd Avenue” project; and WHEREAS, sealed proposals were received by the published deadline; and WHEREAS, Headley Construction Group submitted the most responsive proposal;

NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the Village Council hereby determines that Headley Construction Group has submitted the most responsive bid and hereby authorizes the Village Manager to enter into an agreement with said firm for the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, equipment, machinery, superintendence, and services necessary for the completion of the project as detailed in the Drainage Improvement SW 72nd Avenue Project Invitation to Bid packet in an amount not to exceed $107,265.00. The project includes Removal of existing concrete, Concrete Sidewalk and Driveways installation, SOD, installation of Drainage Structure, Trench, Pipes and Storm Manhole. As a result of the ITB, the following six (6) bids were received by the April 22, 2025, deadline: Rogar Management $183,972.00 National Traffic Solution $184,285.71 Star Paving Corporation $124,309.20 Quality Paving Corp $158,325.00 Headley Construction Group $107,265.00 Terra Hyle Contractors $218,640.00 Based upon staff’s evaluation of the proposals, I hereby respectfully recommend the Village Council adopt the attached resolution awarding the contract for the Drainage Improvement SW 72nd Avenue project to the lowest Bidder, Headley Construction Group, in the amount of $107,265.00.
