Authorize manager to negotiate HZIP LLC community center food concession

RESOLUTION NO. 2025- A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE AN AGREEMENT WITH HZIP, LLC. FOR THE PINECREST COMMUNITY CENTER FOOD AND BEVERAGE CONCESSION; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Village issued a Request for Proposals for the Pinecrest Community Center Food and Beverage Concession; and WHEREAS, the Village Manager received proposals by the published deadline; and WHEREAS, a staff evaluation committee has ranked the top proposals as follows: 1. Aguamiel, LLC 2. DAS Miami Management, LLC 3. HZIP, LLC 4. Elia Pinecrest, LLC 5. Mia Vita Café, LLC

NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the Village Manager is hereby authorized to negotiate an agreement with HZIP, LLC. for the Pinecrest Community Center Food and Beverage Concession. Section 2. As a result of the RFP, five (5) proposals were received by the March 25, 2025, deadline: • Aguamiel, LLC • DAS Miami Management, LLC • HZIP, LLC • Elia Pinecrest, LLC • Mia Vita Café, LLC A committee evaluated the proposals based on the firm’s experience and capability, project team and staffing, pricing, work plan, references, and completeness of the proposal. Based on these criteria, the committee selected HZIP, LLC. I hereby respectfully recommend the Village Council adopt the attached resolution authorizing the Village Manager to negotiate a professional services agreement with HZIP, LLC for the Pinecrest Community Center Food and Beverage Concession.
