Award $207,587 bid to Nature's Dream Landscape for median improvements

RESOLUTION NO. 2024- A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, AWARDING A BID TO NATURE’S DREAM LANDSCAPE FOR THE HOWARD DRIVE MEDIAN LANDSCAPE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Village issued an Invitation to Bid for the “Howard Drive Median Landscape Improvements” project; and WHEREAS, sealed proposals were received by the published deadline; and WHEREAS, Nature’s Dream Landscape submitted the most responsive proposal;

NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the Village Council hereby determines that Nature’s Dream Landscape has submitted the most responsive bid and hereby authorizes the Village Manager to enter into an agreement with said firm for the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, equipment, machinery, superintendence, and services necessary for the completion of the project as detailed in the Howard Drive Median Landscape Improvements Project Invitation to Bid packet in an amount not to exceed $71,959.00. The project includes planting, soil mixture, lawn sodding and maintenance. As a result of the ITB, the following three (3) bids were received by the October 29, 2024, deadline: BrightView Landscape Services $206,578.06 Nature’s Dream Landscape $71,959.00 Supreme Roofing and Construction $207,587.30 Based upon staff’s evaluation of the proposals, I hereby respectfully recommend the Village Council adopt the attached resolution awarding the contract for the Howard Drive Median Landscape Improvements project to the lowest Bidder, Nature’s Dream Landscape, in the amount of $71,959.00.
