Unfortunately, this neighborhood has become a staging area for Gulliver parents picking up their children. They park on the street and swale, and idle for up to an hour to avoid navigating the carpool queues on campus. I’ve had meetings with the residents in the area and Gulliver administrators. Gulliver has made efforts to police their parents, but they lack the authority to stop this behavior. The actions of these drivers are not illegal unless it’s a posted no parking zone. The installation of these signs would empower the police department to take the necessary enforcement action. Thank you for your consideration.
