Award $219,798 bid to Axces Media for Pinecrest Gardens electrical updates

RESOLUTION NO. 2024- A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, AWARDING A BID TO *** FOR THE *** PROJECT; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Village issued an Invitation to Bid for the “Pinecrest Gardens Electrical Updates” project; and WHEREAS, sealed proposals were received by the published deadline; and WHEREAS, Axces Media submitted the most responsive proposal;

NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the Village Council hereby determines that Axces Media has submitted the most responsive bid and hereby authorizes the Village Manager to enter into an agreement with said firm for the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, equipment, machinery, superintendence, and services necessary for the completion of the project as detailed in the Pinecrest Gardens Electrical Updates Project Invitation to Bid packet in an amount not to exceed $199,408.88.00. The project includes the addition of new electrical receptables, panels, circuits, and 1 phase wire. As a result of the ITB, the following two (2) bids were received by the November 7, 2024, deadline: Axces Media $199,408.88 Wesworth Electric $219,798.00 Based upon staff’s evaluation of the proposals, I hereby respectfully recommend the Village Council adopt the attached resolution awarding the contract for the Pinecrest Gardens Electrical Updates project to the lowest Bidder, Axces Media, in the amount of $199,408.88.
