Award $250,000 bid to Rogar Management for sidewalk replacement

RESOLUTION NO. 2025-24 A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, AWARDING A BID TO ROGAR MANAGEMENT FOR THE SIDEWALK FLAGS REPLACEMENT 3RD PHASE PROJECT; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Village issued an Invitation to Bid for the “Sidewalk Flags Replacement 3rd Phase” project; and WHEREAS, sealed proposals were received by the published deadline; and WHEREAS, Rogar Management submitted the most responsive proposal;

NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the Village Council hereby determines that Rogar Management has submitted the most responsive bid and hereby authorizes the Village Manager to enter into an agreement with said firm for the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, equipment, machinery, superintendence, and services necessary for the completion of the project as detailed in the Sidewalk Flags Replacement 3rd Phase Project Invitation to Bid packet in an amount not to exceed $79,688.00. The project includes demolition, removal and disposal of existing sidewalk, form, placement, and finish of new sidewalk. As a result of the ITB, the following nine (9) bids were received by the April 15, 2025, deadline: V&G Construction Solutions $84,999.66 SC Contractors $120,000.00 Star Paving Corporation $118,896.00 Metro Express $140,000.00 Rogar Management $79,688.00 National Traffic Solution $224,936.55 Quality Paving Corp $114,000.00 Homestead Concrete & Drainage $250,000.00 Phoenix Concrete Plus $30,664.75 Based upon staff’s evaluation of the proposals, I hereby respectfully recommend the Village Council adopt the attached resolution awarding the contract for the Sidewalk Flags Replacement 3rd phase project to the lowest and most responsible bidder, Rogar Management, in the amount of $79,688.00.
