Modify alcohol restrictions for indoor parties at Pinecrest Gardens

RESOLUTION NO. 2023- A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, MODIFYING EXISTING RESTRICTIONS RELATING TO NIGHT-TIME PARTIES WITH ALCOHOL AT PINECREST GARDENS TO EXCLUDE FROM THE RESTRICTIONS PARTIES HELD AT INDOOR FACILITIES AT THE VENUE; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Village Council adopted Resolution 2002-4 on February 5, 2002 authorizing the purchase of the property located at 11000 Red Road, f/n/a as Parrot Jungle, and now Pinecrest Gardens; and WHEREAS, the resolution established the following restriction: As to the Entire Property, the Village shall not permit parties at night where alcoholic beverages are served, except such parties shall be permitted no more than four times a year with the consent of the Village Council. WHEREAS, the Village Council wishes to modify the restriction by excluding parties held at indoor facilities at Pinecrest Gardens;

NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the previously imposed restriction at Pinecrest Gardens, pursuant to Resolution 2002-4, relating to parties at night where alcoholic beverages are served, is hereby modified to exclude parties held in indoor facilities at the venue. No change is recommended for the outdoor spaces, which would continue to be limited to no more than four parties with alcohol a year with consent of the Village Council. /yg
