Award $799,000 roof replacement bid to Atlas Apex Roofing

RESOLUTION NO. 2025- A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, AWARDING A BID TO ATLAS APEX ROOFING FOR THE ALEYDA MAS PARK RE- ROOFING PROJECT; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Village issued an Invitation to Bid for the “Aleyda Mas Park Re-Roofing” project; and WHEREAS, sealed proposals were received by the published deadline; and WHEREAS, Atlas Apex Roofing submitted the most responsive proposal;

NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the Village Council hereby determines that Atlas Apex Roofing has submitted the most responsive bid and hereby authorizes the Village Manager to enter into an agreement with said firm for the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, equipment, machinery, superintendence, and services necessary for the completion of the project as detailed in the Aleyda Mas Park Re-Roofing Project Invitation to Bid packet in an amount not to exceed $493,538.46. The project includes Remove existing roof as required, Asbestos test, replacing of all metals, flashings, counter flash, gutters, and scuppers, if needed. As a result of the ITB, the following five (5) bids were received by the January 22, 2025, deadline: Atlas Apex Roofing $493,538.46 A-1 Property Services $527,045.00 RTI Services $498,000.00 La Porta Contracting $727,228.28 Full Cover Roofing $799,000.00 Based upon staff’s evaluation of the proposals, I hereby respectfully recommend the Village Council adopt the attached resolution awarding the contract for the Aleyda Mas Park Re- Roofing project to the lowest Bidder, Atlas Apex Roofing, in the amount of $493,538.46. Funding for this project was approved within the Fiscal Year 2025 Capital Improvement Projects for Aleyda Mas Park.
