Renew landscape maintenance contract for Pinecrest Parkway with state transportation

RESOLUTION NO. 2025- A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT RENEWAL AGREEMENT WITH THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE OF PINECREST PARKWAY (US 1); PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Village Council wishes to authorize the Village Manager to enter into a Contract Renewal Agreement, for the landscape maintenance of Pinecrest Parkway (US 1), between the Florida Department of Transportation and the Village;

NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the Village Manager is hereby authorized to execute the attached Contract Renewal (No. ASV95-R2) with the Florida Department of Transportation for landscape maintenance of Pinecrest Parkway (US 1). NOW, THEREFORE, this Agreement witnesseth that for and in consideration of the mutual benefits to flow each to the other, the parties agree to a renewal of said original Agreement for a period beginning the 20 day of July, 2025 and ending the 19 day of July, 2026 at a cost of $7,876.00. All terms and conditions of said original Agreement shall remain in force and effect for this renewal.
