Execute amendment to Mesis agreement for median and landscape maintenance

RESOLUTION NO. 2023- A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT WITH MESIS FOR THE PROVISION OF US1/PINECREST PARKWAY/SOUTH DIXIE HIGHWAY MEDIAN MAINTENANCE; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the Village Manager is hereby authorized to execute an amendment to the Agreement with Mesis for the provision of US1/Pinecrest Parkway/South Dixie Highway Median Maintenance, to include Miscellaneous Landscape Services with a contract end date of September 30, 2023. The services will include mowing, haul away debris, litter pick-up, removal of large limbs blocking traffic and others as directed by Village of Pinecrest Public Works or Code Compliance departments. I hereby respectfully recommend, based on the contractor’s consistent performance throughout the years, the Village Council adopt the attached resolution authorizing the amendment of current US1/Pinecrest Parkway/South Dixie Highway Median Maintenance contract with Mesis Landscape Services, INC to include Miscellaneous Landscape service with a contract end date of 9/30/2023.
