Adopt parking restrictions along Southwest 57 Avenue at Southwest 107 Street

RESOLUTION NO. 2025- A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, ADOPTING PARKING RESTRICTIONS ALONG SOUTHWEST 57 AVE, ON THE NORTH AND SOUTH SIDES OF THE SOUTHWEST 107 STREET ENTRANCE, PURSUANT TO ORDINANCE 2001-6; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Village Manager has recommended parking restrictions along Southwest 57 Ave, on the North and South sides of the Southwest 107 Street Entrance; and WHEREAS, the Village Council finds that adopting the Village Manager’s recommendation is in the best interest of the safety and welfare of the citizens and residents of the Village of Pinecrest;

NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the following parking restrictions are hereby adopted pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance 2001-6: Parking shall be restricted on the specified roadway as follows: (1) Parking shall be prohibited along Southwest 57 Ave, on the North and South sides of the Southwest 107 Street Entrance. Clear signage on both the north and the south sides of the entrance restricting parking in this area would greatly enhance safety and maintain proper community upkeep.
