Authorize $35,000 professional services agreement with MKSK for park design

RESOLUTION NO. 2022- A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH MKSK FOR GARY MATZNER PARK CONCEPTUAL DESIGN PROJECT; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the Village Council hereby authorizes the Village Manager to enter into the attached agreement with MKSK for Gary Matzner Park Conceptual Design Project. Section 2. As a result of the RFQ, six (6) proposals were received by the May 20, 2022 deadline. At the June 8, 2022 meeting, Village Council authorized the Village Manager to negotiate a professional services agreement with the selected firm, MKSK. After a successful negotiation, MKSK has agreed to perform the Gary Matzner Park Conceptual Design project for the total amount of $35,000.00. I hereby respectfully recommend the Village Council adopt the attached resolution authorizing the Village Manager to enter into a professional services agreement with MKSK for the Gary Matzner Park Conceptual Design Project.
