Mattes, cpre, cpsi, parks and recreation director re: gary matzner park conceptual design update mksk design studios has created two new conceptual designs for the council’s consideration for the development of gary matzner park. Each plan was developed with the understanding of removing much of the built environment that was included in the originally presented concepts. The new designs include a parameter walking path but remove the additional trails and walkways, water feature, and large picnic structures from the previous versions. A smaller picnic gazebo is included in both designs, and both designs allow for the inclusion or removal of the pickleball courts. The next step for this project is for council to approve one of the design concepts if they so choose and then put that design out to BID for construction documents and building the park. 1 gary matzner park village of pinecrest 12/13/2022 village council presentation gary matzner park gary matzner park december 13, 2022 december 13, 2022 2 gary matzner park village of pinecrest 12/13/2022 process process > site inventory & analysis > public survey summary > town hall meeting - october 7th > concept development > village council presentation - november 1st > village council presentation - december 13th 3 gary matzner park village of pinecrest 12/13/2022 goals & objectives: program: inclusive to all, accessible to everyone.
