RESOLUTION NO. 2024-__ A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AGREEMENTS WITH COMPANIES FOR EMERGENCY DEBRIS REMOVAL; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Village published a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Emergency Debris Removal; and WHEREAS, sealed proposals were received by the published deadline;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the Village Manager is hereby authorized to enter into agreements with the following companies for Emergency Debris Removal: 1. RAS Construction 2. Southern Disaster Recovery 3. SFM Services, Inc. 4. DRC Emergency Services 5. Aftermath Disaster Recovery 6. CTC Disaster Response, Inc. Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption. The intent of this RFP is to pre-qualify Debris Removal contractors for the performance of Emergency Debris Removal throughout the Village. As a result of the RFP, the following nine (9) proposals were received by the June 28, 2024 deadline: 1. SFM Landscape Services, Inc. 2. RAS Construction 3. CTC Disaster Response, Inc. 4. Phillips and Jordan, Inc. 5. Southern Disaster Recovery 6. T.F.R. Enterprises, Inc. 7. Grubbs Emergency Services 8. DRC Emergency Services 9. Aftermath Disaster Recovery Based upon staff’s evaluation of the qualifications and responsiveness, the firms were ranked in the following order: 1. RAS Construction 2. Southern Disaster Recovery 3. SFM Landscape Services, Inc. 4. DRC Emergency Services Aftermath Disaster Recovery 6. CTC Disaster Response, Inc. 7. T.F.R. Enterprises, Inc. 8. Phillips and Jordan, Inc. 9. Grubbs Emergency Service Based upon staff’s evaluation of the proposals, I hereby respectfully recommend the Village Council adopt the attached resolution awarding the contract for Emergency Debris Removal to the top six (6) proposals, RAS Construction, Southern Disaster Recovery, SFM Landscape Services Inc., DRC Emergency Services, Aftermath Disaster Recovery and CTC Disaster Response, Inc.
