Award vehicle repair and maintenance services agreement to Kendall Toyota

RESOLUTION NO. 2023- A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH KENDALL TOYOTA FOR VEHICLE REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE SERVICES; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Village issued a Request for Proposals for Vehicle Repair and Maintenance Services; and WHEREAS, the Village Manager received proposals by the published deadline; and WHEREAS, a staff evaluation committee has ranked the top proposals as follows: 1. Kendall Toyota 2. Bomnin Automotive Group 3. Metro Ford Miami 4. The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company

NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the Village Manager is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with Kendall Toyota for Vehicle Repair and Maintenance Services. Section 2. The purpose of this RFP is to provide all material, labor and equipment necessary in performing all operations necessary in connection with the repair and maintenance of Village of Pinecrest vehicles. As a result of the RFP, the following four (4) proposals were received by the July 3, 2023 deadline: 1. Bomnin Automotive Group 2. Metro Ford Miami 3. Kendall Toyota 4. The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company Based upon the selection committee’s evaluation of the qualifications and responsiveness, the firm were ranked in the following order: 1. Kendall Toyota 2. Bomnin Automotive Group 3. Metro Ford Miami 4. The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company I hereby respectfully recommend the Village Council adopt the attached resolution awarding the contract for Vehicle Repair and Maintenance Services to Kendall Toyota.
