Authorize Soccer Stars agreement for youth soccer programs

RESOLUTION NO. 2024- A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH SOCCER STARS FOR YOUTH SOCCER PROGRAMS PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Village issued a Request for Proposals for Youth Soccer Programs; and WHEREAS, the Village Manager received proposals by the published deadline; and WHEREAS, a staff evaluation committee has ranked the top proposals as follows: 1. Soccer Stars 2. Soccer Shots

NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the Village Manager is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with Soccer Stars for Youth Soccer Programs. Section 2. This resolution shall be effective immediately upon adoption. The intent of this RFP is to provide an instructional, recreational, year-round Youth Soccer Program for children up to age 12 primarily at Coral Pine Park. As a result of the RFP, the following two (2) proposals were received by the November 15, 2024, deadline: 1. Soccer Stars 2. Soccer Shots Based upon staff’s evaluation of the qualifications and responsiveness, the firms were ranked in the following order: 1. Soccer Stars 2. Soccer Shots Based upon staff’s evaluation of the proposals, I hereby respectfully recommend the Village Council adopt the attached resolution awarding the contract for Youth Soccer Programs to the top ranked proposal, Soccer Stars.
