Purchase $155,318 in landscape equipment from Westco Turf

RESOLUTION NO. 2023- A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH WESTCO TURF, INC. FOR LANDSCAPE EQUIPMENT PURCHASE; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the Village Council hereby authorizes the Village Manager to enter into an agreement with Westco Turf, Inc. to purchase Parks and Recreation Department landscape equipment, in an amount not to exceed $155,318.23. The total equipment price is $155,318.23. Funding for this purchase was budgeted within the Capital Improvement Project budget for the department. The proposed pricing was competitively bid as part of the cooperative purchasing program through Sourcewell Cooperative Contracts. The Parks and Recreation Department recommends that the Village accept the proposal from Westco Turf, Inc. and purchase the necessary equipment to provide in-house landscape services.
