DATE: May 1, 2023 TO: Yocelyn Galiano, ICMA-CM, LEED-GA Village Manager FROM: Stephen R. Olmsted, AICP, LEED-GA Planning Director RE: Architectural Review Board – Appointment of Members On December 13, 2022, the Village Council adopted amendments to the Village’s Land Development Regulations to allow for implementation of the updated Pinecrest Parkway (US 1) Vision Plan. Adopted amendments include a requirement that all new development within the commercial and Pinecrest Business Alternative zoning districts adjacent to Pinecrest Parkway be reviewed and approved by an Architectural Review Board prior to consideration by the Village Council. Staff recommends that the Village Council consider appointment of individual members to an Architectural Review Board to be formally established at a subsequent meeting of the Village Council. If authorized by the Village Council, staff will prepare a resolution establishing the Architectural Review Board and appointing members for an annual term. It is recommended that the Architectural Review Board have one member per Councilmember.
