Award $237,000 bid to I2Visual for municipal center monument sign

RESOLUTION NO. 2022-__ A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, AWARDING A BID TO I2VISUAL, INC. FOR THE PINECREST MUNICIPAL CENTER MONUMENT SIGN; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Village issued an Invitation to Bid for the “Pinecrest Municipal Center Monument Sign” project; and WHEREAS, sealed proposals were received by the published deadline; and WHEREAS, I2VISUAL, INC. submitted the most responsive proposal;

NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the Village Council hereby determines that I2VISUAL, INC has submitted the most responsive bid and hereby authorizes the Village Manager to enter into an agreement with said firm for the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, equipment, machinery, superintendence, and services necessary for the completion of the project as detailed in the Pinecrest Municipal Center Monument Sign project Invitation to Bid packet in an amount not to exceed $94,000.00. The project includes fabrication and installation of a monument sign at the entrance of the Pinecrest Municipal Center. As a result of the ITB, the following two (2) bids were received by the December 1, 2022 deadline: Kenco Sign and Awning, LLC $237,000.00 I2VISUAL, INC $94,000.00 Based upon staff’s evaluation of the proposals, I hereby respectfully recommend the Village Council adopt the attached resolution awarding the contract for the Pinecrest Municipal Center Monument Sign to the lowest Bidder, I2VISUAL, INC in the amount of $94,000.00.
