Village of Pinecrest Public Works 10800 SW 57th Avenue Pinecrest, Florida 33157 Phone: 305-669-6916 RE: Professional Services Proposal Water Meter & Service Lines Various Locations throughout the Village Dear Mr. Mendez, On behalf of A.M.I. Engineering, LLC (AMI), we appreciate the opportunity to provide this proposal for Engineering Services to support The Village of Pinecrest (“Client”) and the important task to provide water meters to Village residents. We look forward to working with you on this project. Project Understanding_____________________________________________________________________ The Village has received funding to provide water services and meters to approximately 150 properties within the Village. These properties already have existing watermains of adequate size abutting the properties. The connections will require tapping of the existing watermain, service line extension to the property line, and a new meter box with a meter place by MD-WASD. The list of properties is part of an agreement between the Village and MD-WASD. Task 1: Kick-off Meeting and Project Coordination For this phase, we will conduct one kick-off meeting to outline tasks and coordinate the work with the Village and MD-WASD. We will also setup the drawings files and templates to be used in the tasks below. No Utility investigation will be completed through 811. The Utility contractor will be responsible for call locates and avoiding existing utilities. Task 2: Coordination for Meter Locations To complete the required plans to submit to MD-WASD, the Village will initiate contact with the property owners, most likely in the form of a letter. AMI will then coordinate with each property owner to confirm and document the proposed service size and location. Exact meter locations must meet MD-WASD standards and requirements. Task 3: Plan Development: Plan Sheets will be developed as basic sketches for submittal and approval to MD-WASD. A sample of these sketches was previously approved by MD-WASD and our scope and fees are based on their acceptance of the limited information to be shown. The following information will be included on the sketches:
