Authorize manager to negotiate Salty Sisters Café concession agreement

RESOLUTION NO. 2025- A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE AN AGREEMENT WITH THE SALTY SISTERS CAFÉ FOR THE PINECREST COMMUNITY CENTER FOOD AND BEVERAGE CONCESSION; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Village issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for firms interested in providing professional services for the Pinecrest Community Center Food and Beverage Concession; and WHEREAS, the Village Manager received proposals by the published deadline; and WHEREAS, a staff evaluation committee has reviewed the proposals from the following firms: • Gusto Casero • The Salty Sisters Café • Bonjour Café at Pinecrest • Le Marche Café

NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the Village Manager is hereby authorized to negotiate with the firm of The Salty Sisters Café, pursuant to the state’s Competitive Negotiations Act, to provide professional services for the Pinecrest Community Center Food and Beverage Concession. As a result of the RFP, four (4) proposals were received by the November 14, 2025, deadline: • Gusto Casero • The Salty Sisters Café • Bonjour Café at Pinecrest • Le Marche Café A committee evaluated the proposals based on the firm’s experience and capability, project team and staffing, pricing, work plan, references, and completeness of the proposal. Based on these criteria, the committee selected The Salty Sisters Café. I hereby respectfully recommend the Village Council adopt the attached resolution authorizing the Village Manager to negotiate a professional services agreement with The Salty Sisters Café for the Pinecrest Community Center Food and Beverage Concession.
