RESOLUTION NO. 2025- A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, RATIFYING THE SELECTION OF COUNCILMEMBER KEN FAIRMAN AS VICE MAYOR FOR THE 2025-2026 FISCAL YEAR PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF ORDINANCE 2001-02; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS,
2(b) of the Village Charter requires the selection of a member of the Village Council to serve as Vice Mayor for a one-year term pursuant to a procedure established by ordinance; and WHEREAS, Ordinance 2001-02 (Section 2-56 of the Code of Ordinances) established the procedure for the annual selection of the Vice Mayor; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2-56 of the Code of Ordinances, the Councilmember from Seat 4 shall serve as Vice Mayor during the 2025-2026 Fiscal Year;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the Village Council hereby ratifies the selection of Councilmember Ken Fairman as Vice Mayor for a one-year term during the 2025-2026 Fiscal Year pursuant to Section 2-56 of the Code of Ordinances. Section 2. This resolution shall be effective immediately upon adoption. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of November, 2025. ____________________________ Joseph M.
