On Monday, Isa Torres, one of the best players in FSU softball history, announced her intention to enter the transfer portal. Torres released a statement on X, and D1 Softball first reported the news.
Torres’ departure had been rumored since Florida State failed to advance from the Tallahassee regional after winning the ACC regular season and conference tournament. Torres is the biggest name from a Seminole softball team that has already suffered heavy casualties in the transfer portal, including Jaysoni Beachum, who said she would enter the transfer portal last week.
