ATLANTA, Ga. — A lawsuit filed in April alleges Georgia laws unfairly restrict midwives and make it harder for families to access maternal care.
The lawsuit, filed against the state of Georgia in Fulton County Superior Court, lists three midwives as plaintiffs: Jamarah Amani, Tamara Taitt and Sarah Stokely.
