Congressman hammers SPLC at hearing on listing Moms for Liberty as ‘hate group’
The Southern Poverty Law Center CEO complained that Moms for Liberty seeks to ‘ban books.’ In fact, the group flags children’s books that have sexual, violent, and otherwise adult content.
( LifeSiteNews ) — A Republican Congressman grilled the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) CEO on Wednesday for putting the parental rights organization Moms for Liberty on their “hate group” list.
Asked by Republican U.S. Rep. Tom Tiffany of Wisconsin during a House Judiciary Committee hearing why the SPLC designates Moms for Liberty as a hate group, CEO Bryan Fair said it “ is an organization that advocates against school curricular inclusion” and “opposes LGBTQ rights.”
