As travelers head into the Summer months, Florida Atlantic University ( FAU ) economists say trips are likely to be increasingly costly.
The FAU analysis concludes elevated inflation is going to lead to increasingly expensive Summer vacations. The economists project inflation is going to remain above the Federal Reserve’s target of 2%. They point out the Personal Consumption Expenditures Price Index’s annual growth of inflation climbed to 4.9% in April.
