One person was taken to a trauma center after a shooting in Miami Gardens on Tuesday; detectives are investigating the 17300 block of NW 36th Ave.
Gunfire shattered the quiet of a Miami Gardens neighborhood early Tuesday, sending one person to a trauma center and kicking off a fresh police investigation near the 17300 block of Northwest 36th Avenue.
Neighbors told reporters they heard a burst of gunshots before emergency crews flooded the street. First responders confirmed a victim was taken from the scene, but authorities have not released that person’s condition as detectives work an active investigation.
