A candidate forum in Panama City ended with threatening remarks from one candidate and allegations of racially charged comments.
Republican congressional candidate Jim Norton was captured on video in an argument with a staffer for GOP Primary opponent Keith Gross’ campaign. Norton chastised the staffer, Joan Laureano , for filming remarks made at the forum. “You’re not going to use anything,” Norton can be heard saying. “You don’t have the right.”
