Joel Davis said he personally turned in a copy of Rep. Paula Stark’s financial disclosures on Friday. But he said a clerk gave them back and said they weren’t needed, hours before she was disqualified from re-election for a failure to submit them.
“I mean, this is my third time doing it, so it’s not like I just didn’t know what we were doing,” said Davis, Stark’s Treasurer and partner.
