Rezoning Sought For 1,000-Key Expansion Of Hilton Miami Airport Blue Lagoon At 5101 Blue Lagoon Drive
A rezoning application has been filed for a major expansion of the Hilton Miami Airport Blue Lagoon at 5101 Blue Lagoon Drive in Miami. Submitted by New York-based hotel owner and operator MCR under the M2 Miami Airport Blue Lagoon LLC, the proposal would add 1,000 hotel rooms across two new 14-story buildings on the property’s 20.6-acre waterfront site overlooking Blue Lagoon. Designed by Behar Font & Partners with landscape architecture by Walk Landscape Architecture and Urban Design, the project would increase the property’s total room count to 1,508 keys and requires a series of zoning approvals from Miami-Dade County.
