The Florida state budget includes some 60 "sprinkle projects" for Volusia and Flagler counties. Here are seven of the most interesting.
Florida lawmakers have approved a $114.5 billion state budget that includes a few extras — the Tallahassee insiders call them "sprinkles" — to help local governments and agencies fund specific projects.
There are about 60 Volusia- and Flagler-centric projects in the budget, now subject to Gov. Ron DeSantis' veto pen. Here's a look at seven such appropriations for communities and organizations in the two counties.
