DeSantis gives update on Manatee County DOGE task force
Governor says audit found budget growth outpaced inflation and population.
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. ( WWSB ) - Gov. Ron DeSantis on Tuesday provided an update on Manatee County’s local DOGE, or Department of Government Efficiency Task Force.
DeSantis said the audit started last year and that Florida CEO Blaze Angolia found the Manatee County budget grew faster than the rate of inflation and population growth.
