Republican Melissa Rutland has filed to run for House District 60, giving the GOP its second candidate in the race to replace Democratic Rep. Lindsay Cross .
Rutland is the first to officially file though; Bill Mitchell , a civil trial attorney and former Air Force aircraft mechanic, told Florida-Politics he plans to file for the seat before the end of qualifying week.
