Florida State ranked in top-third of all 138 FBS programs in 2026
Lindy's Sports ranked Florida State at No. 48 in the country in their newest preseason poll, good for the 11th best ACC team.
The Florida State Seminoles ' recognition and historical successes have made it a perennial contender no matter the season, and while the last few years have been lean years, preseason polls still look favorably upon them.
Lindy's Sports preseason rankings feature all 138 FBS teams, from the No. 1 Oregon Ducks to the No. 138 UMass Minutemen, and FSU is debuting as the No. 48 in the country, which in the top third of all teams, even if it is far below their lofty standards.
