Dianne Smith: From The Messenger’s Files: Wilburn selected Officer of the Year
Lt. Louis Wilburn was named Troy police officer of the year by the Lions’ Club Monday night. Lt. Wilburn, who was selected by members of the police department in secret balloting, becomes the first officer of the year selected by the civic club.
Wilburn was recognized and presented with a plaque at the Monday night meeting, attended by Lions and members of the Troy and Tsu police departments as special guests.
