Florida e-bike speed limit passes. When it will likely become law
E-bike riders will need to throttle it back around pedestrians if Gov. Ron DeSantis signs the bill the Florida Legislature sent him on June 15.
Better start slowing down. On Monday, June 15, the Florida Legislature sent a bill establishing a 10 mph speed limit for e-bikes and other "micromobility devices" within 50 feet of a pedestrian to Gov. Ron DeSantis' desk for signature.
