President Donald Trump’s endorsement machine delivered another mixed night in Republican primaries.
A congressional candidate running in Florida has vowed to rename the state’s I-75 the “President Donald J. Trump interstate” in an effort to secure a coveted endorsement.
I-75, also known as “ Alligator Alley ,” is a 78-mile stretch that runs through the Florida Everglades, connecting Naples on the Gulf Coast to Fort Lauderdale on the Atlantic Coast. Originally a two-lane road built in the 1960s, the heavily trafficked interstate gets its name from the surrounding Alligator population.
