The Southern Baptist Convention would rather expel the second largest church in its denomination than allow a woman to be its pastor. I’m not really religious in a formal sense, but if there’s one thing I’ve been assured about the Almighty by the nation’s largest Protestant Christian denomination, it’s that 50% of the human race has absolutely no business preaching His word.
