Pre-Dawn Shooting Erupts In Coconut Grove Crowd On Oak Avenue
Miami police say a person was shot around 1:55 a.m. on the 3800 block of Oak Avenue; the victim was taken to Jackson Memorial and detectives are investigating.
A pre-dawn gathering in Coconut Grove turned violent early Saturday when someone was shot near the 3800 block of Oak Avenue. Miami police said officers were responding to reports of a large crowd around 1:55 a.m. when they heard gunfire in the area. A short time later, they found a wounded person, who was taken by Miami Fire Rescue to the emergency room at Jackson Memorial Hospital. Authorities have not released the victim’s name or current condition.
