SouthCoast churches part of Eucharistic Pilgrimage's 2,200-mile trek
The National Eucharistic Pilgrimage will be coming to the Fall River Diocese for a weekend of prayer and processions this month.
In a celebration of faith and the country’s milestone 250th anniversary, the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage will embark on 2,200-mile journey from St. Augustine, Florida to Pennsylvania, stopping through Fall River, New Bedford and Easton along the way.
The pilgrimage concludes in Philadelphia on the Fourth of July. It is organized by the National Eucharistic Congress and is part of a nationwide call to renewal, unity and mission rooted in the Eucharist, according to a community announcement.
