Less than two weeks after Florida Politics reported that a brief 2025 party switch likely bars him from running as a Democrat in Florida’s 28th Congressional District, Hector Mujica is on the precipice of withdrawing from the race.
He wants former federal prosecutor Robin Peguero , a candidate in Florida’s 27th Congressional District, to switch races and replace him, multiple sources confirmed.
