Florida emergency officials to hold hurricane preparedness roundtable at FIU
State emergency management director to lead discussion Thursday morning in Miami.
MIAMI, Fla. ( WWSB ) - Florida Division of Emergency Management Executive Director Kevin Guthrie hosted a hurricane season preparedness roundtable Thursday at Florida International University’s Biscayne Campus, addressing multiple active emergencies across the state.
The event at the Wolfe University Center included Lt. Gov. Jay Collins, Miami Chief Grant Musser and Dr. Jesse Spearo of Miami-Dade County Emergency Management.
