Two-term Republican Rep. Susan Plasencia said she is not seeking re-election for House District 37 representing Seminole and Orange counties.
“My mother is in the final stages of Alzheimer’s disease, and my siblings and I are committed to caring for her at home with dignity,” Plasencia wrote in a letter .
