A man arrested in a double shooting during what authorities said was a drug deal gone wrong in Miami-Dade earlier this year is now facing charges in an alleged sexual battery and kidnapping case from 2024 in Broward, records showed.
Brian Laoz, 22, was booked into Broward's Main Jail on Wednesday on two counts of armed sexual battery, and one count each of armed kidnapping, aggravated assault with a firearm, attempted armed robbery and false imprisonment, records showed.
