The Florida Supreme Court has approved newly drawn congressional maps for the upcoming election, affecting tens of thousands of voters across the state, including significant changes in Lee County.
“These new maps are having the biggest impacts on cities like Fort Myers. They've been taken out of District 19 and placed in District 17,” Gulf Coast News Chief Political Reporter Dave Elias said.
