Sen. Tom Leek is backing Jennifer Winkler in House District 74 , giving the Sarasota Republican support from a former House budget chief as she works to break through in a competitive Primary for the open seat.
Leek, an Ormond Beach Republican, was elected to the Senate in 2024 after serving in the House from 2016 to 2024. He chaired the powerful House Appropriations Committee in his final term in the House.
